Summer of change…2007
Summer 2007 was a busy one for Buildings & Grounds, Social Action, Religious School, Early Childhood and many others. The Boy Scout renovation of our computer lab (Classroom #8) was only one of the projects that took place this summer around the building and grounds of Beth Tikvah.

Have you noticed our new front yard plantings? Our freshly resurfaced parking lot? Our “We Support Israel” sign facing Hillcrest Blvd? Did you know that Sisterhood supported the replacement of our old banquet tables with new, modern, safer tables? You’ll see them as they start to arrive in the Chaveyron. You’ll also see new audio / video equipment in our religious school this fall.
Have you taken a few minutes to rest in our beautiful new lobby gathering area or outside on our new, heavy duty benches? Did you notice how brightly lit our new front entryway is at night, how our front doors are highlighted? Have the women of Beth Tikvah and their guests notice the bright newly renovated Ladies Room?

We encourage you to stop in, say hello to our new Cantorial Soloist and look over her renovated workspace. Just wait until you see the end result of Classroom #1, our model classroom of the future and we hope you’ll visit our computer lab when class is out of session, sign on with one of our beautiful new flat screen monitors and surf the Beth Tikvah website.

The summer activity was funded primarily by donations from our members and our friends. We hope you’ll appreciate the effort and results and recognize that your donations can help drive a cleaner, safer more beautiful Beth Tikvah.
