Tenth Grade Judaics Class Description and Learning Updates
Class Description: 
Confirmation
- The focus of confirmation class is how to think Jewishly.
- The students use the text Tough Questions Jews Ask.
- Class consists of discussions on topics of interest for the students.
- The curriculum is engaging and is based on the students’ interests and guided by Jewish tradition.
- We have set Jewish life requirements. Each student is expected to complete 13 "Jewish life requirements" before confirmation. These requirements can include, reading a jewish book, attending services, attending youth group events, or going to jewish communal activities.

The Beth Tikvah Confirmation Class of 2010 is collecting supplies for the West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS).
A donation box is set up in the hallway through May 23. Thank you for your generosity!
WSHS is always in need of the following items:
Paper Towels
Toilet Paper
Food. Our animals are on a specific diet; so that we don't upset their digestive system, we must be specific: Any canned cat, dog, kitten and puppy food is fine, but for dry food we use only Purina or IAMS
cat and dog, kitten and puppy formulas
light formula - cat and dog
senior formula - cat and dog
KMR (kitten milk replacement), small baby bottles and nipples
Dog and cat toys (washable and indestructible!)
Cat litter (no scoopable)
Postage stamps
Garbage bags (13 & 30 gallon sizes)
6 inch paper plates
Bleach
Laundry Detergent
