Class Description: 

Holocaust, Women in Jewish History

• The students explore famous Jewish Woman because knowing about great women, then; can inspire us regarding the important roles Jewish women have had in our history, helping us carry out our responsibility to perpetuate a legacy of generations of Jewish women devoting themselves to Judaism and the Jewish people.
   
• The study provides an educational experience through which students can develop an understanding of how the holocaust emerged from a progression of events. It also provides a basis from which students can draw conclusions about what society can learn from these events and how they relate to current events.
