Fourth Grade Bible Class Description and Learning Updates
Class Description: 
- The Fourth Grade Bible curriculum seeks focuses on the book of Leviticus, The materials used are CHAI level 3 (Leviticus), 4 (Numbers and Deuteronomy)
- The Mitzvot in Leviticus include the rules designed to help us feel God in all aspects of our lives. The goal is to implant within the students a sense of kedushah (holiness), and allow them to develop Bible-study skills, build on their sense of inquiry, and relate biblical narrative to their lives spiritually, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and morally.
- A Child’s Bible: Prophets and Writings chapters 1-8 (Deuteronomy, Deborah, Gideon, Samson, Ruth, Samuel and Saul)
- The students develop skills that allow the access to independent study of Torah. They are encouraged to ask and respond to open-ended questions and to struggle with the dilemmas inherent in the Torah's narrative.
