Professor Inamul Haq

inamul haqProfessor Haq teaches Islam at Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, IL. He is also an adjunct professor at the Catholic Theological Union (CTU). Previously he had been principal of two Islamic day schools in the Chicago area. Mr. Haq is a founding member of the International Strategy and Policy Institute, an Oakbrook based think tank. He served on the Chicago Committee of Human Rights Watch and on the Board of theCardinal Bernadin Center of CTU. Prof. Haq studied at International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan and at Drew University in New Jersey. He has been frequently interviewed by local media, including Chicago Tribune and PBS regarding issues covering Islam and Muslims.

If your life has been touched by an interfaith relationship, or if you have chosen or are exploring Judaism, Beth Tikvah Outreach is here to offer guidance and support. We offer opportunities to share your experiences and learn from others in a non-threatening, friendly environment.

world heartRabbi Taron Tachman will join a small group of faith and community leaders speaking this Wednesday at the Love Your Neighbor Vigil at Countryside Unitarian Universalist Church in Palatine.

Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00 p.m.

Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist

The goal of the gathering is to build community and stand in solidarity with neighbors of all faiths and cultures. The evening will include a short vigil service followed by coffee, tea, desserts, and conversation.
