Summer Fun In the Sun

Yes, we know, we know Fall has just begun and here we are already talking about summer! But really, who doesn’t love summer? For so many of our children summer time is THEIR time. It’s the time that they get to truly connect with other Jewish children from all over the United states in an environment that is special and they just get to be Jewish. They have the experience of a lifetime when they are actively engaged in summer camp activities with a Jewish twist. Summer is the time when our kids make memories and build friendships that will last a lifetime.

On November 5th, Susan Alexander, the Associate Director of OSRUI will be spending the day at Beth Tikvah’s Religious School. She will be sharing the many different amazing opportunities OSRUI has to offer our children throughout the summer. During her day with us, Susan will be engaging our younger students and their families in camp-like activities and songs, and will be sharing the joys of summer at OSRUI during her presentation. She will also be speaking with our Teens and Tweens about the programs camp has to offer our older students as well as camp staff opportunities. We will be serving snacks to all families that attend. Susan will be meeting with the older students and their families from 10:30-11:00. After that, she will be meeting our 2nd -5th grade families from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.

While our affiliation with URJ camps (OSRUI being one of them) is very strong, we are well aware that there are many wonderful summer camp programs that are available to Jewish children. The decision to send your child to camp is a meaningful one. Whatever choice you make is one that will make lasting impressions and memories.
